Label check
Six questions for any pack in your hand, and a unit-price calculator. It describes what a label shows; it never tells you what to buy. Everything stays on your phone.
Walk through a label
Seven short screens. Tick only what the pack itself shows you.

What this label showed you
What no label question can tell you
- How any ingredient affects your body.
- Whether the price is worth it, or which product to buy.
- Manufacturing quality or batch-to-batch consistency.
Each Field Guide explains these six questions in full in its Part Zero, and shows them on real materials.
Compare unit prices
Pack sizes are not standardised, so shelf prices often aren't comparable. Enter two or three products of the same type. Weight and volume are never compared with each other.
A lower price per 100 ml or 100 g says nothing about quality, concentration, or how much of the pack you will actually use.
Educational material about labelling. Not medical or dermatological advice; makes no purchase recommendation; names no brands. Requirements differ by country: verify any figure with the regulator for your own market. Nothing you select or type here is sent or stored.
